DAY 1:

Clients will be met by our representative where they will be accommodated to be briefed about their tour and then depart to Khama Rhino Sanctuary accompanied by our professional guide. Packed breakfast and lunch will be served along the way. Upon arrival, there will be a game drive and later clients will get to their full set campsite. Dinner will be prepared by our professional chef at the campsite and after dinner clients can gather around the camp fire before heading to bed. Time for bed will be determined by the last client. The Khama Rhino Sanctuary (KRS) is a community based wildlife project, established in 1992 to assist in saving the vanishing rhinoceros, restore an area formerly teeming with wildlife to its previous natural state and provide economic benefits to the local Botswana community through tourism and the sustainable use of natural resources. Covering approximately, 8585 hectares of Kalahari Sandveld, the sanctuary provides prime habitat for white and black rhino as well as over 30 other animal species and more than 230 species of birds.

This activity is very interesting and is conducted in the mornings only accompanied by our qualified guides. The purpose of the activity is not only to find the rhinos, but also to learn some survival techniques and habits that these animals have adopted in their evolution. This activity starts at 06:00am and clients are advised to wear appropriate footwear and bush-coloured clothing.

Clients will head back to the campsite and will be served brunch. Later in the afternoon, there will be a game drive where clients will get a chance to see animals such as black rhino, white rhino, impalas, giraffes, black bcked jackal, steenbok antelopes, blue wildebeest, zebra and ostrich. When back at the campsite clients will be served dinner. Time for bed will be determined by the last client.
