BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS


Note that when booking with Marvelous Mobile Safaris you indicate your interest to travel with us, therefore making a deposit payment with us specifies that you agree with terms and conditions to our company.

 

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY THE FOLLOWING TERMS OF THE CONTRACT

 

  1. Marvelous Mobile Safari shall guarantee the availability of the trip upon receipt of deposit. A deposit of 30% needs to be paid as soon as possible to reserve the booking. A cancellation refund, (less bank charges), will be paid at any time 60 days before the tour. The balance can be paid upon arrival in Botswana. 
  1. Any change of date should be done in writing 
  1. The price is inclusive of Transport, meals full board, Guide fees, Park fees, Chef, camping equipment, bottled water, cold drinks, and tea. Wines and spirits will be catered with an extra cost. 
  1. Marvelous Mobile Safari will not be held liable due to cancellation of the tour arising from the Department of Wildlife’s suspension of trips into the parks for any reason. 

5.      All correspondence shall be through e-mail or hand delivery

6.     All bookings are held as provisional until:

 

·         A deposit of 30% of the total invoiced amount (as specified on the invoice) is received by us.

·         Should the deposit not be received the reservation will be automatically canceled.

·         Once the deposit is received – the booking will be regarded as confirmed. 

·         Balance of payment must be received 1 month (30 days) prior to departure.

·         Proof of payment must be scanned and emailed to our Maun, Botswana office, with the following details: 

o   Company name, reservation name & number, date of deposit, amount paid.  


PAYMENT POLICY
For a booking to be confirmed you will be required to deposit 30% non-refundable fee prior the cancellation of the trip, with balance payable 60 days before the trip commence. Marvelous Mobile Safari generously request you to comply with this since, in most circumstances we have to make booking in advance to secure space thereof, advanced payment is meant for this.

STANDARD CANCELLATION POLICY APPLIES TO TOTAL TRIP COST:
 Any booking cancellations less than 60 days but more than 30 days prior to departure are subject to a 50% cancellation fee.  Any booking cancellations less than 30 days but more than 21 days prior to departure are subject to a 60% cancellation fee.  Any booking cancellations less than 21 days but more than 14 days prior to departure are subject to a 100% cancellation fee.
REFUND POLICY
Our refunds are processed as prescribed on standard cancellation policy outlined above. Refunds are processed in 7 days of receiving your cancellation email and it will be returned in the manner
in which payment was made. The cancellation must be put in form of writing to your travel consultant that you were dealing with or directly to us for direct bookings. Note that we will not accept cancellation made via telephone.
ITINERARY CHANGES
Marvelous Mobile Safari reserves the right to change routes if necessity by unanticipated and untenable conditions beyond our control occurs there in. All possible alternatives made, our guest are certain notified through effective means of communication in form of writing via email regarding the inconvenience resulted. 

 

Cancellation and Payment Policies

All cancellation should be given in writing or email once the required deposit has been received by us:  21-30 days before check-in date: 40% of the total fee.

 11-20 days before check-in date: 70% of the total fee.

 0-10 days before check-in date: 100% of the total fee.

Payment policy: All reservations made will only be guaranteed once payment is made and monies are received in accordance with the following schedule:

PLEASE NOTE: Whilst a booking is held in a provisional status and another booking is received accompanied by a 50% deposit, you will be informed in writing to secure your reservation with a deposit of 50% within 5 working days. Failure to pay the deposit within the 5 working days will result in an automatic cancellation of the entire reservation.
We will be happy to supply any further information you may need and trust that you call on us to proceed with your booking, which will receive our prompt and careful attention.
